An application that permits iphone 6 clients to take 360
degree pictures of articles and afterward reveal to them as 3d photos is here.
Called 3DAround, the application made by Swiss programming organization Dacuda
takes pictures that are 3-dimensional, as well as intuitive.
Allowed to download, the application was intended to catch 3d pictures
of sustenance, to take advantage of fame of nourishment photography yet it
meets expectations generally also with any comparably estimated article.
"The app allows users to share full dining experiences via 3D
images so lifelike, viewers can almost taste the food," Alexander Ilic
from Dacuda was quoted as saying to BGR.
"3DAround extracts a full 3D model of an image, capturing object
depth and structure as users move around to take food photos from various
angles. It combines these multiple images into a single, virtual 3D
photo," he said.
Using the iPhone's accelerometer, the app allows people who have
downloaded it to share images that are like a 360 degree walkaround. By tilting
the phone, the image shifts and pans around the object with movements.
The developers of the app, Dacuda,
designed the app to grab attention of food photographers but it works fine for
other objects as well. 3DAround uses omni-directional SLAM Scan 3D technology
(Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) engine, software and algorithms for 3D
scanning with the iPhone 6's camera, The Next Web reports.
"The app allows users to share
full dining experiences via 3D images so lifelike, viewers can almost taste the
food," Alexander Ilic from Dacuda said, according to BGR. "3DAround
extracts a full 3D model of an image, capturing object depth and structure as
users move around to take food photos from various angles. It combines these
multiple images into a single, virtual 3D photo."
3DAround also interacts with the
device's accelerometer, which makes the image shift and pan when the iPhone is
tilted. The app gives the 3D image by capturing the object's depth and
structure from various angles and then combining into a single photo.
The free app is currently supported only on iPhone 6 devices running iOS
8 or higher. Support for additional iPhone models, such as iPhone 5, is coming
as early as next month. Unlike the usual download method, 3DAround cannot be
grabbed from iTunes. Users need to download the TestFlight app before loading
it on the iPhone 6.
