How to erase your search history on facebook

Ever wondered how facebook knows what we are going to search when we have just written half of the text in search box???
Its because just like Google,Facebook also automatically saves your search queries to make it time saving,easier and comfortable for you to find people or things later.

But thes queries are visible to only and only you,no one else from outside the account can view what you ‘ve searched for.

However for the people out there,however,this list of every people and everything you have seached for on Facebook is a treasure trove which they want to discover.Just think about how frequent you leave your account logged on accidently or because of slow internet on someone else’s computer.!

Regardless your search history and stalking of your ex’s profile not being a big deal,but it surely is a big deal and a matter of concern when your new significant other gets an eye on it,ofcourse you must be just checking in your ex’s profile but there is no way your partner will understand it.
there is no need to panic after reading this as you can now clear your search history simply by following these easy steps.



Click on the setting icon up in the right corner of your homepage.Then navigate to the “Activity log” option in the drop-down menu.

On the left-hand panel of your main activity log page,you will see an option that says “”More”.click it. near the bottom of the list,you will see a “Search”option.Click that .

Near the bottom of the list,you will see a “Search”option.Click that .

Bravo! There is your search history.Might be little embarrassing,hah?
you can delete one item at a time using the option at the right for each search query or remove everthing all at once by clicking “Clear searches” at the top.
